What I treat
Therapy that goes deeper than the surface
Neuromuscular therapy isn't just relaxation — it's a clinical discipline that identifies the structural and neurological causes of pain and dysfunction, then resolves them.
01
Neuromuscular Therapy
Address the root cause, not just the symptom
Neuromuscular therapy (NMT) is a specialized form of soft tissue manipulation that targets the nervous system's role in chronic muscle pain. By identifying trigger points, postural distortions, nerve compression, and ischemia, NMT addresses the underlying cause of pain rather than masking it.
What to expect
Sessions involve detailed assessment of your movement patterns and pain history, followed by precise manual techniques applied to specific muscle groups. Most clients experience significant relief within 2–4 sessions.
Conditions treated
- Chronic back and neck pain
- Sciatica and nerve impingement
- Repetitive strain injuries
- Tension headaches
- Fibromyalgia
- Post-surgical recovery
02
Trigger Point Release
Dissolve the knots that refer pain elsewhere
Trigger points are hyperirritable spots within a taut band of muscle that cause referred pain — meaning the pain you feel in your shoulder may actually originate in your neck. Trigger point release uses sustained, targeted pressure to deactivate these points and restore normal muscle function.
What to expect
You may feel a familiar ache or referral pattern during treatment — this is a positive sign that the correct point has been located. Relief often follows within 24–48 hours as the muscle releases and circulation is restored.
Conditions treated
- Tension headaches and migraines
- Shoulder and rotator cuff pain
- Lower back and hip pain
- Jaw pain (TMJ)
- Plantar fasciitis
- IT band syndrome

Postural Correction
Retrain your body to support itself
Modern life — long hours at a desk, repetitive movement patterns, and sedentary habits — creates predictable muscular imbalances. Some muscles become chronically shortened and overactive; others become lengthened and inhibited. Postural correction therapy identifies and corrects these patterns before they become structural problems.
What to expect
Treatment combines soft tissue work with movement education. You'll leave with a clear understanding of your postural patterns and simple corrective strategies to reinforce the work between sessions.
Conditions treated
- Forward head posture
- Rounded shoulders
- Anterior pelvic tilt
- Uneven hips or leg length discrepancy
- Scoliosis-related tension
- Desk worker syndrome

Sports & Athletic Recovery
Recover faster, perform better
Whether you're a competitive athlete or a weekend warrior, your muscles accumulate micro-damage, adhesions, and compensation patterns over time. Sports massage and neuromuscular techniques accelerate recovery, reduce injury risk, and help you maintain peak performance.
What to expect
Sessions are adapted to your training schedule and goals — whether that's deep recovery work in the off-season or lighter maintenance during competition periods.
Conditions treated
- Post-event muscle soreness
- Overuse injuries
- Muscle strains and sprains
- Pre-event preparation
- Chronic athletic tension
- Return-to-sport recovery

How it works
What to expect at your first session
Intake & Assessment
We begin with a thorough conversation about your pain history, lifestyle, and goals. I'll assess your posture and movement patterns to identify the underlying contributors to your discomfort.
Targeted Treatment
Using neuromuscular techniques, I work precisely on the structures contributing to your pain — not just the area where you feel it. Sessions are focused, clinical, and adapted in real time to your body's response.
Education & Home Care
You'll leave with a clear understanding of what was found and why. I'll provide simple, practical strategies to support your recovery between sessions — because what you do outside the treatment room matters.
Ongoing Progress
Most clients see meaningful improvement within 2–4 sessions. We'll track your progress and adjust the treatment plan as your body responds and your goals evolve.
Not sure which service is right for you?
Book a session and we'll figure it out together. The first step is showing up — I'll handle the rest.
